How this was built

Races: the 2022 Senate race where there was one, otherwise Governor (Texas, Michigan, Maine, Nebraska). Virginia had neither in 2022, so its row adds up every US House race. 2024 is President everywhere.

Sources, best first: official state and county results (including OpenElections copies), official election-night pages recovered from the Wayback Machine, the New York Times/AP results feed, and numbers quoted by analysts. County figures from any source were checked against NYT county totals, and anything more than 2% off was dropped. North Carolina's and Georgia's official figures match NYT exactly for every vote method.

"Partial" means only some counties or towns report by vote method. Those rows describe those places only, so compare the dots with the final-result tick, which shows the result in those same places.
